I cannot make outbound calls from my One Talk desk phone

Direct answer

Reboot your phone first. Then, check your internet connection. If the internet is down, contact your internet provider. If your ISP is Verizon for this location, contact PercFab with the details below. If internet is fine, call PercFab so we can check your line and permissions.

When to use

  1. Outgoing calls fail or drop immediately
  2. Other devices also seem offline

Prerequisites

  1. Access to another device to test internet
  2. Your One Talk phone number or extension

Steps

  1. Test internet on a computer or another device on the same network. If no internet, contact your ISP.
  2. If Verizon is your ISP: call PercFab with your business address, modem/router info, and any outage messages you see; we will help coordinate.
  3. If internet is working: reboot your desk phone, then try again. If still failing, call PercFab so we can check call permissions, blocks, or account issues.
