Install and activate the Verizon One Talk mobile app on iPhone or iPad

Steps

  1. Open the One Talk app and tap Get Started.
  2. Tap Continue, then tap the One Talk Phone Number field and enter your One Talk phone number.
  3. Tap the Device Name field and enter a name for this device. This is how it will show in settings.
  4. Tap Done, then tap Request PIN.
  5. Check your authorized email for the activation PIN and enter it in the app.
  6. Tap Activate.
  7. Enter your Name and tap Done.
  8. Tap Next through the intro screens.
  9. Select your preferred calling option to finish setup.

Common issues and fixes

Issue: No activation email arrives

Fix: Make sure you used the correct email that has activation permissions. Check spam. Contact your admin if you need activation access added.

Issue: PIN not accepted

Fix: Request a new PIN and enter it within the valid time window. Make sure you typed your number correctly.

Issue: Calls do not ring on this device

Fix: Confirm Do Not Disturb is off in the app settings and verify notifications are allowed in iPhone or iPad settings for One Talk.
