Problems with your Verizon phone not ringing

Problems with your Verizon phone not ringing but able to make calls. 

If your line goes Straight to voicemail 
This could mean 1 of 2 things. 

Do not Disturb is turned on

Either Do Not Disturb(DND) is turned on to correct this just press  DND Button on the phone

Call Forwarding is turned on

Dial **73   from the Affected phone or
  1. Hit features
  2. Call forward
  3. Select Always forward
    1. hit switch till it says disabled. 
    2. Press Save

or there is an issue with the phone's registration with the server. 


1st thing to try is to reboot the phone. there are multiple ways to accomplish this. 

 Method without Touching wires

  1. Make sure the screen shows the clock and date
    1. Press the x or cancel or back as many times needed to get to the main screen.
  2. Press and hold the x key (under the down arrow) until the phone asks you to reboot. 

Unplugging the Power cable.

  1. unplug the black round power cable.
    1.  if there isn't a round black cable unplug the cord in the internet port
  2. count to 30 and plug that cord back into the same spot. 

  1. the phone will auto-reconnect to the server and register.
  2. if the reboot doesn't work you can factory reset the phone using the following instructions link. Factory Reset your Verizon phone.

If your not able to make outbound calls from the phone either


  1. Check your internet connection on your computers or other devices. 
    1. If you don't have internet Call your internet Provider. 
      1. If your Internet Provider is Verizon Please Call us with the information below.
    2. If you do Have internet  Call PercFab 520.975.3070
